Madison Butler, DVM

I joined Cat Care in January of 2025.  I received my Bachelor’s of Science in Biological Sciences from Wayne State University, and I went on to get my DVM from Mississippi State University in 2022.  I spent the first 2.5 years out of school working in a small animal general practice.  I am so excited to start focusing on my feline patients!

I live with my husband, our two cats, and one dog.  We adopted Stormie, our oldest cat, one month before I moved to Mississippi for vet school.  She was there for me throughout all 4 years of school, and she became an expert at handling the long car rides between Michigan and Mississippi.  We adopted our second cat, Roo, at the start of my third year of vet school.  Roo started as a foster cat, but we quickly decided she had found her fur-ever home with us!  Our dog, Eliza, acts more like a cat than a dog most of the time because of her two older kitty sisters.
