Farewell to Dr. Kimberly Hunt

Farewell to Dr. Kimberly Hunt
January 26, 2024

Please join us at Cat Care as we say goodbye to Dr. Kimberly Hunt. Dr. Hunt has been with us since late 2020 but is now returning to the world of doggie (and kitty) medicine. We wish her all the best in her new adventure! Rest assured that Dr. Teresa Taylor and I, Dr. Tamara Sloan, will continue to provide the best care for your furry companions. If needed, we have relief vets who are more than capable of attending to your pet's needs while we search for another excellent feline vet. We have the utmost confidence in our relief vets, and we know that you will too!

We are temporarily pausing the scheduling of new clients due to limited appointment availability. Though we appreciate your referrals, we want to ensure that we can provide the best possible care to our existing clients and their pets. We will continue to see any clients who are already scheduled with us and any existing clients who bring in new pets. If you have an upcoming appointment, and we have not yet called you to reschedule or confirm it, feel free to call us!

We will make every effort to assist sick cats, but it is important to keep in mind that there may be instances where we need to refer you to another facility to ensure that your cat receives prompt and appropriate care. When we refer you and your cat to an emergency clinic, it is because we believe that the situation requires immediate attention or a higher level of care than we can provide. We understand that taking your cat to a different clinic can be stressful, especially when you are already concerned about your furry companion's health. Please know that we empathize with you, and we prioritize your cat's well-being above all else. We very much appreciate your patience during the transition!

Purringly Yours,
Tamara A. Sloan, DVM
